Privacy Policy
Florida EV Finder (“we”, “the app”, “the site”) helps you find public EV charging stations in Florida. This policy explains what information we use and why.

1. Who we are
Florida EV Finder is available at floridaevfinder.com and as an iOS application. For privacy questions, contact us at mobilegagus@gmail.com.
2. Location data
If you use the Near Me feature, the app may request your device’s location to sort nearby chargers by distance. Location is used only to provide that feature. You can deny location permission in iOS Settings; map browsing and city directories still work without it. We do not sell your location data.
3. Website & app technical data
When you visit the website or load content inside the iOS app, our hosting provider may process standard technical information such as IP address, browser or device type, approximate region, and pages requested. This is typical web server logging used for security, reliability, and troubleshooting.
4. Charging station data
Station listings come from public datasets, including US Department of Energy NREL Alternative Fuel Stations data (via ChargingNear.me, CC-BY-4.0). Showing this directory does not require creating a personal account.
5. What we do not do
- We do not sell personal information.
- We do not require account registration to browse stations.
- We do not use your location for advertising.
6. Analytics & advertising
The website uses Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate traffic (for example pages viewed, approximate region, device type, and referral source). Google may process this data according to its own policies. We do not use analytics to sell your personal information, and we do not use your Near Me location for advertising. You can limit analytics via browser controls or Google’s opt-out tools where available.
7. Children
Florida EV Finder is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
8. Data retention
Server logs are retained only as long as needed for security and operations, then deleted or rotated according to hosting practices. Location used for Near Me is processed for the active session/feature use and is not stored as a long-term user profile by us.
9. Your choices
- Deny or reset location permission in iOS Settings → Florida EV Finder.
- Stop using the app or website at any time.
- Email mobilegagus@gmail.com for privacy requests.
10. Third-party links
The app or site may link to external sites (for example maps, networks, or data sources). Their privacy practices are their own; review their policies when you leave Florida EV Finder.
11. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Effective date” at the top will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
